News

Collier’s competed in the world’s largest cheese exhibition on 29th of July, against a record breaking 4,443 entries in this years Nantwich show. That didn’t seem to falter the 200 judges from recognising Collier’s powerful flavours, resulting in a bronze in the extra mature class, silver in the Welsh class and even a VHC (very highly commended) in the vegetarian class.

Collier’s butter also received a gold in the salted butter class: an outstanding result!

  1. does your product come from all grass fed cows

    • The vast majority of the milk used to produce Colliers Powerful Welsh Cheddar is from the environs of the supplying creamery in Denbighshire.

In general terms the cows will be outside on grass between mid March and mid November, weather and ground permitting, but this is down the husbandry of the farmer and his livestock.

  2. We discovered your products only recently and although we have to be very price aware we just had to ‘drop you a line’ to say how distinctive your flavour is.We honestly can say how is vastly superior yours is.We certainly will recommend it to our friends and family!!!
