Cricket legend bats for Collier’s Powerful Welsh Cheddar
Cricket legend Darren Gough is the face of Collier’s Powerful Welsh Cheddar.
He joined the Collier’s team in 2010 but was fan for many years before that, taking the irresistibly tasty cheddar away on cricket tours in his luggage!
As well as a successful career in international cricket he won an army of new fans when he won Strictly Come Dancing in 2005, and now presents the drivetime show on Talk Sport radio. Most recently he was a contestant on The Jump, a winter-sports themed TV celebrity competition.
Darren features in Collier’s PR and social media campaigns, and starred in a TV advertising campaign. He has a huge following on Twitter and is busy converting his legion of followers into Collier’s fans!
Darren says: “I just love Collier’s so this is a dream role for me! It has a unique sweet savoury flavour and I probably get through four blocks a week, and I can cadge as many blocks as I want!”
