Collier's Powerful Welsh Cheddar takes gold at International Cheese Awards Collier’s Powerful Welsh Cheddar has been named 'Best Extra Mature Cheese Manufacture in the UK' at the International Cheese Awards at Nantwich. The award comes as Fayrefield Foods - which produces Collier’s - unveiled its flagship cheese’s brand new look at the world's largest cheese show where competition was fierce with 2,761 competitors from 24 countries pitted against each other in 160 competition classes. "We are thrilled that Collier’s Powerful Welsh Cheddar has been recognised as the Best Extra Mature Cheddar in the UK," says Chris Swire, Collier's Powerful Welsh Cheddar Marketing Director.
