Strictly Collier's for junior dancing duo

Crewe-based Fayrefield Foods, makers of Collier's, are to sponsor 14 year old Alex Pritchard from Burleydam, Shropshire and 13 year old Chloe Hewitt from Nomans Heath, Malpass.

The pair represented Britain in the International Dance Sport Federation World Junior Latin Championships, held in Bassano del Grappa in Venice, Italy on 14th Feb 2009.

The move comes as Strictly Come Dancing stars Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova release a DVD to help schools teach ballroom and Latin steps to children.
Alex and Chloe, who are coached by Adrian Pritchard, entered the competitive side of Ballroom and Latin dancing at the age of 12 and have won a host of titles.

“We are pleased to give two such talented performers support to help them achieve their dreams,” says Theresa Kerr from Fayrefield Foods.

“Alex and Chloe have worked extremely hard, training five days a week at Pritchards Dance and Fitness Academy in Burleydam, and enter competitions all over the UK. Their ambition is to become World Champion Professional Ballroom and Latin Dancers and we at Fayrefield wish them the very best for the World Championships.”
