French visitors flock to taste Collier's Powerful Welsh Cheddar

Some 30 French tourists got the chance to taste Collier's Powerful Welsh Cheddar during a visit to the UK recently.

The trip was organised by ex-pats Neil and Susan Spoonley, who moved to France three years ago. The couple are massive Collier's fans but to their dismay find they can not buy Collier’s in France.

So the trip to the UK was a great opportunity for the Spoonleys to introduce their friends to the unique and distinctive taste of Collier's.

The visitors are all horse-racing fans and toured racecourses in the North West of England, but stayed in Rossett, near Wrexham.

So Collier's dispatched 30 blocks of their award-winning cheese and a Collier's goody bag to the hotel for each visitor to enjoy and made sure that there was plenty of Collier's to choose on the hotel's cheeseboard!

Vive la Collier's!
