Displaced englishman working in USA. Was floored to find Colliers cheese in the large blocks at a shop 'Vine and Table' in Carmel Indiana. Ended up buying 2 1lb blocks. Just about out need to go back for more. Cheers Mark.

I blooming well love this cheese. I have had my fair share of expensive Deli' cheese, but none come close to this jewel. Me and the boys found it most agreeable with a nice Merlot and some cricket.

I have recently discovered your fine cheese and am head over heels in love. My family were originally from Sri Lanka and I didnt think there was a cheese in the world to rival Sri Lankan Blue Cheese, but you have proved me wrong. It is truly splendid, and I eat it every night when I get home from the Gym. I'm also a keen dancer and always have a large chunk of Colliers before I go and bust my moves in the clubs of central London.#-):-D8-0

What a wonderful cheddar cheese! My daughters and I have been fortunate to have found it in Iowa. We hope that we soon will be able to find it elsewhere in the U.S.A.

Like many that go before me,having tasted this wonderful cheddar I will not buy anything else. The powerful taste and gritty texture make it sheer perfection. I have recommended this to other cheese loving friends, who are all of the same opinion. Well done

:-DThe best Cheddar I have ever tasted!!:-D As a Welshman who has lived in England for the last 40 years, I appreciate a "Taste of Home" (but I'm not biassed, but I am very partial to it!;-) )

:-)I tried your cheese about a month ago and it is the BEST cheese I have ever tasted. I love the crumbly, gritty texture and it is the perfect strength. I have told everyone about it and have even been bringing (small!) samples into work. Everyone has said how much they like too so you will be having a few more customers. I don't think I have ever felt the urge to congratulate a company on their product - but you all deserve it! Thank you.

What have you done, or rather not done to my cheese. What made it so great, was the gritty saltness, which has now all but gone. Shame on you. I am, we are, very disappointed. Its not cheep posting 5 packs of this stuff over from wales(home). Please please please, put it right, and put it back. To see the faces on my cheese loving dutch friends and family, when they first taste it and suddenly realize it eats more like chocolate, than anything you would waste in a sandwich, is almost as satisfying as this extraordinary cheese is, or possibly used to be. Sort it out please.! Marc.

The first time I bought this cheese it had not been packed correctly and was very mouldy, but I was given a voucher in compensation. Since then I have bought no other cheese but this. It is absolutely fantastic; gritty, tangy, full flavoured, and worth every penny I spend on it. My only fear is that my local shops will stop selling it!

Fantastic cheese. Bought it when it was on offer and now I don't want to go near anything else. Being in Yorkshire I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it all the time so get it in as many supermarkets up here and more Yorkies will be able enjoy it too! Keep the good work going!

I have been an avid fan of Colliers for some time, and have recommended it endlessly to my friends. However, like Patrick B (comment 218 below) the latest packet I bought was very disappointing, the flavour and texture just not right. I too hope this is a one off 'blip'. Please Colliers, don't say it's a 'new, improved recipe', because it really isn't!

This is the greatest cheese I have tasted in my entire life and it is the only Cheddar that I have eaten since my discovery of it several months ago. Sadly the last pack I purchased from Tesco, Prestwich, three days ago is just mature Cheddar, your normal Uumph is not there. I am sure it is an anomaly, I just felt that your quality control would be interested. I am sure the next pack will be up to the usual high standard

I must write to say how much I love Colliers Cheddar cheese. It reminds me of the tasty home-cooked Welsh rarebit (that's cheese on toast!)that my Welsh grandmother cooks for me in her semi-derelict stone cottage near the slate mines of North Wales. Her husband was a miner and his father before him and his father's father also. I have heard stories about how they loved to eat strong cheddar cheese in the coal mines after hours of hewing coal at the face. The family also enjoyed cheese based picnics on the beach at Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyndrobyllllantisiliogogogoch. In the coming season of goodwill, why not give Colliers Cheddar cheese to your friends at Christmas instead of soap? You could even grate it over the turkey! Mmm - delicious!

I am a proud welsh man living in england. Your cheese was recommended to me by an English colleague. One taste of your magnificent product and I was addicted. It transported me back to the valleys, and my early years as a coal miner, in an instant. In fact it has made me so home sick that I am thinking about moving back to be closer to the source of colliers. Have you got any chief taster job vacancies at the moment????:-D8-0
