My wife and I have been delighted to have found our perfect strong mature cheese. However we were most disappointed with the colliers cheese we purchased from the local Tesco's last week. Please assure us that this is a temporary hitch. Regards.Walter Daisley.

The first time I tried this it was great. However the second lot ( and I did buy a lot ) had little hard white crunchy bits in it. I could ask what they are if Colliers weren't so anonymous! No 'contact us' on the web site! No listing with directory enquiries! What are they hiding for?:-/ I guess it will have to be a complaint to the Food Standards Agency.

Found them. You have to go to Fayrefields web site.
It would appear that the white crunchy bits are supposed to be there.
So I will apologise unreservedly for the previous posting.

:-) Will the scumbags that've been posting adverts for their sex pills give it a rest! Don't you know that people that eat this cheese don't have that problem. As for the cheedar, it's superb... I used to be an avid Anchor Spec Reserve chomper but this stuff has it beaten hands down. Easily the finest and most consistent cheese I've ever eaten. Unfortunately I live in East Anglia and none of my local supermarkets can be bothered to stock it most of the time. Weird really as both Asda'a and Tesco's both admit it flies off the shelf when they do have it. Keep up the good work!:-)

Hello Wales!
We just tried Collier's Powerful Welsh Cheddar this evening, and are hooked. In 2002, we visited your fair country and lived on a canal boat on the Llangollen Canal for a week. We also spent two weeks driving all over the countryside. Somehow we never tried Welsh cheese (plenty of beer though). Boy, we were missing a tasty treat. Keep up the good work and we will be good cheese consumers!
Cheers,
Alex and Sally Mullin

Hello from New Orleans. I was fortunate to find your Powerful Welsh Cheddar at my local supermarket, Dorignac's. It did not last long - so good, so sharp. Thank you

I found this product at my local indoor market (they have been trying all sorts of brands) by far the best cheddar I have tasted! My hubby keeps pinching it before I can cook with it! From a cheese addict!8-)

Unfortunately the cheese I bought a couple of weeks ago from Tesco and opened today is mouldy. The best before date is 25th July 2006. So I haven't got to taste it yet.
This site doesn't seem to have any contact details and so I have had to share my complaint in the guestbook.

I am an employee of Tesco, and bought Colliers cheese by accident once! It is by far the nicest, sharpest, yet smoothest and creamiest strongest cheddar ever! Now I won't buy anything else. Keep up the good work!!

Am I the first to make comments in the guest book? If so, that has to be worth a tour arround the factory with lots of free samples!!!!!!
My partner and I love your cheese. Great taste at affordable price.
We live close to Denbighshire and like to support local business.
Keep making great cheese and selling through Asda.
