I discovered this amazing cheese two years ago. I live and work in a boarding school and have introduced it to many of the children in my boarding house. Without exception they love it and insist when they go home that parents buy it for them! I especially love the crystals that make it like a really good Parmesan.

Most strong cheddars aren't strong enough but Collier's is just right - especially the white crunchy bits!

Hi, I agree that Colliers is a great substitute for (and tastes better than) French cheese - Keep up the good work

hi ! I've just came back from England ( I live in france) and I'm delighted to eat this delicious cheese ( much better than most French cheese I must confess :-) ) .however, I've finished the piece I 've bought and I cannot find it anywhere in France. I would like to know if it is possible to buy it via this website and how. Thanks in advance for your answers Sylvie

My wife and I have been delighted to have found our perfect strong mature cheese. However we were most disappointed with the colliers cheese we purchased from the local Tesco's last week. Please assure us that this is a temporary hitch. Regards.Walter Daisley.

The first time I tried this it was great. However the second lot ( and I did buy a lot ) had little hard white crunchy bits in it. I could ask what they are if Colliers weren't so anonymous! No 'contact us' on the web site! No listing with directory enquiries! What are they hiding for?:-/ I guess it will have to be a complaint to the Food Standards Agency.

Found them. You have to go to Fayrefields web site. It would appear that the white crunchy bits are supposed to be there. So I will apologise unreservedly for the previous posting.
