It is by far my favourite cheese and I eat a lot of cheese. The flavour is fantastic. I have never bothered to send comments about any food before, but this cheese is worth it.

8-0 Love this cheese! Unfortunately, my local Tesco (New Malden) seems to have dropped it. I'm going to have to shop elsewhere till it returns.

Colliers is without a doubt the best cheddar cheese on the planet. A rival cheddar which won best cheddar in the British cheese awards last year, does not even come close. Cheddar should be strong and powerful and Colliers is that. We LOVE it.

We bought Collier’s cheddar in a local supermarket (Netto) here in Denmark just before Christmas. We ate it with guests Christmas Eve. Everybody agreed it was divine: strong taste, crumbly texture and even a hint of some crystalline substance (which I presume is crushed glass from the miner’s lamp). I went back to the Supermarket immediately after the Christmas break to stock up. However, they said it was a one-off offer. I have tried all other supermarkets, but to no avail. So, Mr. Collier, if you read this, please tell me who your Danish importer / distributor is so that I might track it down. (PS. it was also very reasonably priced – in fact cheaper than Danish rubber-cheddar.)

You made our Christmas :-)!! After a dinner of tasteless turkey, out came the cheeseboard and.. WOW :-D everyone came back for more... the best cheddar we ever tasted... luckily Sainsbury was open Boxing day as we bought 3 more blocks, all greedily eaten already 8-0 ! PLEASE continue to sell to supermarkets in the South East ( or, even better, Independent deli's). Can we get a factory tour :-?( and tasting....).

:-? On Boxing Day I had a small gathering to enjoy a 'Cheddar and Wine' gathering. Panic, the first packet of Collier's opened revealed numerous areas of green/blue mould - ye gods, the French have attacked Wales to try and take away their World Wide reputation as 'the World's best'. A quick attack at all sides with my pointed knife I managed to decontaminate the fantastic, strong, crumbly, erotic cheese. By the way, the cheese brands used for this party were, Colliers, Colliers and more Colliers:-}

8-0:-) Wow, great cheese! Love the flavor, the way it lingers on the tongue. From Anthem, Arizona, just north of Phoenix.

I became a fan of this cheese over a year ago and have never had anything with remotely the same sharp bite whilst still having great flavour. Other supposedly strong chedders just dont come close. Unfortunately it appears to have now dissapeared from the shelf of our local supermarket! I am now desperate for a fix of my favouirte cheese..any ideas who now stocks it?

Good day to you all at Fayrefield Foods,
I've been looking for a full bodied, well matured cheese ever since Cathedral City became quite mild. It was by pure chance that I picked up some 'Colliers' at my local Sainsbury's in Beeston Nottingham. Reading the lable I though, Hmmm, this might be worth a try. Boy, was I right. It is the most wholesome, delicious cheese I have tasted in a long time. No longer do I have to smother the sandwich with pickle just to introduce some flavour. It's even better on 'Krackerwheat' or 'Cornish Wafers'. A thin coat of my favorite marg and a good chunk of 'Colliers':-* Fantastic. Well done you.:-D

We took some of Colliers Powerful Welsh Chedder with us as a gift from Wales to our friends in Bonn Germany last Christmas. This year they have asked us to bring over 10 packets of Colliers Powerful Welsh Cheddar because they want to sell them to friends in Bonn who had also tasted the cheese with them last year and now want to buy a packet for themselves!!
They call Colliers Powerful Welsh Chedder "Salzkase" because of its salty taste which they really enjoy.

I worked at the British Embassy, Paris for several years,and during this time the wife of the Ambassador, Lady Holmes, enabled us to savour many differnt Welsh products (as she came from Wales)including a variety of delicious Welsh cheese (tothe surprise of the French guests!).
Of English origin, but living in France for 16 years, genuine cheddar is one of the things I miss the most... recently a friend brought me over a piece of Collier's Welsh Cheddar, which I didnt know, which is the best cheddar I have ever tasted! So many different sensations that emanate from its zingy flavour and crumbly texture! If only we could purchase it here in Paris where the rare "cheddar" on sale tends to ressemble a block of orange soap! BRAVO!

My mum bought it as its on special offer, and we had heard it was pretty good.
Before we tried that, i would settle for nothign elss than mature or extra mature, which anoyed me mum coz the week before medium cheddah was on special offer, so she bought 4 blocks of it, and i refused to take a bite.
So anyways, we got this cheese, and now, i wont settlew for anything less, by far it isa the best cheese ive ever eatin, also, just thinking about it, i want to run down and grab a chunk of it.
It makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
I love it.
