Experienced Colliers yesterday when visiting Brecon. Stopped off at the Wellington Hotel for lunch. I had a jacket potato topped with cheese, with salad. The cheese was so good I asked the waitress for the name......needless to say on my way home I stopped off at Tesco's and purchased a block....now the family are hooked....I may have to start hiding it!!!!

This is the hotest cheese around, a nice taste smooth and far better than Cathedral.

For merchandise ideas - what about a recipe Book contributed to by members or Oven Gloves (or both!)?

Re comments for merchandise.
In the website you talk about the traditions and history of the cheese accompanied by a photo of a proper miners lunchbox. Do I need to to go on? A black/silver one of these with a big embosed Colliers emblem on it. You would sell thousands, and be a good promotional tool, every pack has a voucher, so many vouchers equals a lunchbox.

ive been buying colliers welsh cheddar now for 4yrs, first at my morrisons store here in redcar, untill they stopped selling it so im able o buy it from my tesco store also in redcar, they know a top class chedder cheese, when they see one, you can keep your other rubbish brands, like seriously strong, and morrisons own brand chedder, they taste like plastic and dry up within a couple of days of bieng opened, colliers welsh cheddar, is how cheddar should be, mature, nutty, moist, not dry or plastic taste but the the tops for my family, colliers welsh cheddar, earns the right to grace the shelves of any supermarket, as colliers, is ......how cheddar should be....perfection ....and top quality, long my it continue.

My mouth is watering just thinking about your cheese. The taste is perfectly creamy and there's just a hint of crust in there, like really good clotted cream with an after bite. The best cheddar by far (and I live 9 miles from Cheddar gorge and there's nothing produced around here that's half as good).

We have discovered Collier's cheese in a small butchers shop, K. Doyle,in London Road Dover. They also sell excellent meat so we always stock up when we visit Dover.

Sensational cheddar and my family and I instantly became hooked when it first came out. All other cheddar's rendered obsolete in my opinion and when I am forced to get other brands my poverty but not my will consents. I'm also enjoying the recently launched butter. Are you still donating money to the Benevolent Miners' Trust? Also, one small criticism - you didn't need to change the packaging. The red on black with shadowy miner's image hit just the right note of mystery, this new one seems a bit too light and airy which belies the content. However, this is a minor thing and will not stop my Collier's buying rampage. Keep up the good work.

I was lucky enough to get a seat at the mid morning excellent cookery demonstration yesterday at the Nantwich Show. Thanks to you all I had the most lovely experience, delicious hot dogs and coffee, not to mention the goody bag! The staff made me feel most welcome. I am sorry to say I had never heard of Colliers cheese before, but after trying the free sample from the goody bag, I am now a convert! Many thanks.

You may remember about two years ago I explained that I had taken some of Colliers Cheese to Germany as a gift to German friends and they and their friends became hooked on Colliers. This Christmas we had an order (which they paid us)from our friends in Bonn to take 10 blocks with us to them so they could pass the cheese on to their friends as Christmas presents. Our friends came here to Wales for a visit a few weeks ago and they bought Colliers cheese for themselves and as a "gift from Wales" for their friends. In fact they took home 15 blocks of Colliers cheese in their car, and cleared the shelves of our local supermarket of Colliers cheese.
